Hog Roast Moniaive Had A Fantastic Bank Holiday Weekend!

It will probably come as no surprise to you to hear that bank holidays are always an extremely busy time for us here at Hog Roast Moniaive. With lots of workplaces closed for the long weekend, giving people the perfect opportunity to meet up with friends and family, and enjoy a few relaxing days away from the usual grind, our team is often hired to show off their culinary skills at impromptu gatherings and intimate family parties. And with last month’s bank holiday being the first proper long weekend in August since covid began, our caterers were even busier than normal.

Customers and clients from all over Cumbria had called up to hire our team for their events, and among them was Jessie. Knowing that no party is complete without some tasty grub, but not wanting to shoulder the responsibility of cooking for 50-something people by herself, Jessie had gotten in touch with Hog Roast Moniaive to organise catering for her event.

Our catering manager, Lee, was more than happy to assist the client with her booking. And after asking lots of questions, which helped him to learn more about the guests he would be feeding, Lee recommended our Gourmet BBQ spread, which fit perfectly with the tone of Jessie’s get-together, while being kind to her budget.

Jessie could hardly believe the affordability of our catering plans, and on the day of her party, she was delighted when our team arrived well in advance of her guests’ arrival. This gave the Hog Roast Moniaive team time to set up our cooking equipment and serving tables and get the meat on the grill with plenty of time to spare before the first guests made an appearance.

Hog Roast Moniaive Whilst the burgers, sausages, kebabs, spareribs and veggie skewers sizzled and spar on the HogMaster grill, Lee and the team rustled up some fresh and delicious salad options, a huge batch of gourmet coleslaw and homemade sweet potato and regular fries. These went down a storm with Jessie and her guests, who were blown away by the quality of the food and the attention to detail our team had paid, which made the experience all the more amazing!
