To celebrate 10 years since Charlotte and her friendship group met at university, the group planned to enjoy a girly night in together at Charlotte’s home in Cumbria. For the party, the girls wanted to enjoy a cocktail night, with DIY drinks inspired by their university years. As well as the drinks, they also wanted to enjoy a delicious meal with a taste of luxury, since they definitely deserve it! Charlotte contacted our catering manager Phil to discuss menu options for the event and decided on a canapés course followed by a classic hog roast. The canapés would perfectly complement the cocktails and create a luxurious atmosphere for the guests to enjoy.
In preparation for the event, the Hog Roast Brampton team is planning on arriving at Charlotte’s home with plenty of time to prepare for the event starting at 5:00pm. The menu will begin with canapés, including mini fish and chips, duck breast, fresh salmon, and an Indian selection. These dishes will be served by our waiting staff as the guests enjoy their first round of drinks, creating an elegant tone for the evening and providing a tasty introduction to our catering.
Later in the evening, we will be serving a classic hog roast accompanied by all of the trimmings, including sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. The pork will be roasted to perfection at the venue and expertly carved, then served in fresh bread rolls, alongside homemade chips and a selection of salad dishes. This creates a hearty and filling main course with plenty to go around!
