Hog Roast Ratten Row Travelled The Distance For A Wedding!

Jill and John’s wedding last month was a day to remember for all involved! The happy couple had chosen the stunning Cormiston Farm in Biggar as the location for their nuptials, which provided a serene setting for their special day.

Hog Roast Ratten Row was chosen to serve the food at this event, meaning our catering team had a long way to travel on the day of the wedding! It took over an hour for our crew to make their way across the border to the Georgian-style venue in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. But who doesn’t love a road trip?

As always, our catering manager, Frank, made sure that the team arrived on site early enough to set up the cooking equipment and get everything ready in time for the 5pm food service. He and the Hog Roast Ratten Row team worked tirelessly throughout the day, ensuring that every dish was prepared to the highest standard.

It wasn’t long before the 100 guests began to fill the dining area, and right away, their senses were captured by the sight and aromas of our iconic Southern Slow Roast menu! Our succulent BBQ pork butt, Cajun-spiced whole roast chickens, and tender Texan-style beef brisket were an instant hit with the couple and their guests.

Hog Roast Ratten RowJill and John were thrilled with the service provided by Hog Roast Ratten Row’s catering team. Our team had gone above and beyond to ensure that all of the guests were well-fed and happy. We even accommodated dietary restrictions and provided vegetarian and gluten-free options, which went down a treat.

The wedding guests couldn’t stop raving about the food all evening. They loved the tender, juicy meat, the creamy mac and cheese, roasted baby potatoes and the refreshing salad.

Hog Roast Ratten Row’s catering team had truly outdone themselves. They had travelled all the way from Ratten Row to Biggar to make Jill and John’s wedding a day to remember – and had succeeded. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was impeccable, and the guests were full of smiles. It was the perfect end to a perfect day.
