In preparation for the new academic year, Hog Roast Winton has been hired to provide a delicious buffet at an upcoming society fair taking place in Cumbria. Universities are made up of different societies, which act as social, academic, or sporting clubs for students to join. At the start of every year, the societies are showcased to new students with the hope that as many people as possible will want to join in. As well as society stalls, the fair also includes several different catering options, including a menu from Hog Roast Winton. For the catering, our manager Frank was hired to serve a classic hog roast for the students, as this menu looks and smells delicious so is sure to attract plenty of people.
When the day of the event arrives, the Hog Roast Winton team will set up our catering station at our allotted space in the sports hall and get to work preparing our menu. We will begin by preparing the hog, which will need to be slow-roasted to perfection on-site. Once ready, it will be expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we will be serving homemade chips and a selection of fresh salad options to create a varied and delicious buffet lunch.
