With the summer bank holiday on its way in the UK, our friends at Tornado Wire Ltd decided to spread out the summer festivities by hosting their annual summer family fun day at their factory here in Millom. For the second year in a row the Hog Roast Millom team has had the privilege of being invited along to cater for the event, and from this year to the last we can only say that things have gotten even bigger at Tornado Wire’s family fun day!
As a corporate caterer, we work with a tonne of companies all around the UK. That puts is in a good position to see how many different UK offices and workplaces operate, and so we can say with good authority that just about every other company should be following in the steps of Tornado Wire. It is so important to the atmosphere of any business that staff get to enjoy special days such as this. A family fun day shows staff that they are appreciated and also 
helps to bring friends and family into the fold, making the entire workplace feel all the more personal and cohesive. The kids get a good day out, and staff get to enjoy some light reprieve from the daily grind. Plus, with Hog Roast Millom in attendance, everyone wins big by getting to enjoy our delicious hog roasts and fresh catered foods!
Now joining Tornado Wire for the second year running, we came in knowing exactly what the expectations were and how we could best match up to them. We know from experience last year that the staff of Tornado Wire were very receptive to our hog roast, so that was of course first on the menu for our dining. It’s always a winner, especially when paired with our crispy crackling, sage and onion stuffing, and fresh apple sauce. For this event we then also provided additional butchers sausages, grilled to perfection on our mobile and versatile roasting machine, and veg and halloumi skewers. With plenty of bread rolls and wraps available, the parents and kids of Tornado Wire had plenty to enjoy for their day of summer fun!
