Amy and Jamie were the latest couple to tie the knot here, putting their own stamp on this blank canvas venue with a personalised welcome sign, custom decorations and an incredible meal served by Hog Roast Kendal’s finest.
At Hog Roast Kendal, we know your wedding isn’t just another day – it’s the beginning of a whole new chapter. That’s why we always go above and beyond to make sure that everything goes off without a hitch (pun unintended!). And when Amy and Jamie put their faith in us, we were determined to prove ourselves.
Keeping in theme with the rustic setting, the couple had picked our Southern Slow Roast Menu. The beauty of this feast is the variety it offers, which meant Amy and Jamie didn’t have to worry about any of their 107 guests going home hungry. Even their veggie and vegan guests were over the moon!
For the main course, Sam and the team cooked a trio of pre-marinated meats low and slow for several hours until they were fall-apart tender. This resulted in the best BBQ pork butt, Texan 24 hour beef brisket and Cajun-spiced whole-roast chickens many of the guests had ever tasted! On the side, we had bread rolls and wraps for those looking to build the ultimate sandwiches, plus some flavourful glazes, buttery corn cobettes, seasonal green leaf salad, homemade coleslaw and a mix of sweet potato and classic fries.
Those sticking to plant-based diets didn’t miss out thanks to our BBQ-pulled jackfruit buns, topped with vegan-friendly coleslaw and bursting with hickory goodness. Some of the guests couldn’t believe it wasn’t meat!
