With summer arriving we at Hog Roast Cartmel have just enough time before a hectic summer schedule begins to look back and admire the mammoth month of events that May was for us. The late spring period into summer is always quite a ramp up in events since that is around the time of year where weddings and other such seasonal events come to the fore, but for this May in particular we found ourselves at the end of even more events than usual. A lot of that comes down to the dates set into the month itself this year.
In May of 2023 there were bank holidays aplenty, and where there are lovely 3 day weekends there are typically plenty of lovely events too for Hog Roast Cartmel to cater. A bank holiday kicking off the month and getting us off to a flyer, another to bookend the month and close us out on a high, and of course a most special royal bank holiday there in the middle just to keep the events running ever further. That royal bank holiday made May a month like no other, and one that we at Hog Roast Cartmel adored royally. The King’s coronation saw the entire country coming out in celebration with street and garden parties aplenty – the perfect setting for any Hog Roast Cartmel catered service. We were delighted to share in a historic day for the entire United Kingdom by celebrating with hundreds of guests all across the country, feeding them all a feast fit for a king in our roast specials, our gourmet barbecue delights, and our many freshly prepared sides and salads.
The late bloom of sunny weather also prompted many an outdoor event for Hog Roast Cartmel to cater too. Once summer arrives barbecues and garden parties become the norm, so with the hot weather finally arriving by mid-late May we had the grills fired up and running once again.
Then there were the events for our corporate partners. Even in the numerous 4-day work weeks there were still plenty of corporate occasion to cater for. As it turns out, there is always time to fit in a hog roast in the working world!
Now we at Hog Roast Cartmel are readying up for an equally big June of events, and can’t wait to see you all out there!
