Hog Roast Shap was recently entrusted with the responsibility of catering for a couple’s special wedding celebration. Everything seemed to be going according to plan until a sudden change in weather loomed over the event, threatening to dampen the festivities. However, our dedicated catering manager, Frank, swiftly came to the rescue, ensuring that the day was saved with the help of our reliable marquee.
Our sturdy event tent not only provided much-needed shelter from the torrential downpour but also created a cosy and dry environment for the guests, allowing them to fully enjoy the wedding despite the temperamental weather conditions. Once our equipment was set up and food prep was under control, our caterers made sure to assist with decorating the space with rustic wooden dining tables and soft-white lighting and pastel flower arrangements, which encapsulated the couple’s vision perfectly.
To complement the delightful setting, we served our esteemed Alfresco Wedding Menu. Offering a wide array of delectable dishes, from a mouthwatering hog roast main course to succulent sides, including charcuterie boards, fresh salads, coleslaw and roast potatoes, plus a choice of indulgent desserts, our culinary creations left a lasting impression on the taste buds of the wedding guests.
