Laura and her cousin have birthdays within a week of each other, so they have been having shared celebrations since birth. For their upcoming 13th birthday party, their parents wanted to host a special party to celebrate them both becoming teenagers. The party was set to take place at a local function room, near their home in Cumbria, with a DJ for entertainment. Since the party was for friends and family, there needed to be something for guests of all ages to enjoy, so it was decided that a delicious evening buffet was needed. Hog Roast Marton was contacted to cater for the event and our manager Phil was on hand to help with choosing the right menu. After looking through our buffet options, it was decided that our Gourmet BBQ menu would be ideal for the occasion as it is the most versatile and is bound to go down a treat!
On the day of the party, the Hog Roast Marton team arrived at the venue with plenty of time to prepare for the 8:00pm serving time. We began by preparing the main dishes, which included succulent pork sausages, juicy British beef burgers, veggie sausages, marinated chicken kebabs, and BBQ pork spareribs. The mains were all served in fresh bread rolls, alongside homemade chips, sweet potato fries, crunchy coleslaw, corn on the cob, and a fresh green leaf salad. This menu had something for everyone to enjoy and plenty to go around the 80 guests!
