Dinosaurs, cavemen, and mouth-watering food – what more could you ask for on a family outing?
Hog Roast Threlkeld’s latest adventure took us on a journey to a spectacular dinosaur day out! Held at a nearby country park, this event promised a day of Jurassic fun for guests of all ages, and with tickets selling out in record time, anticipation was running high.
As the event organiser, Gemma was determined to provide her guests with top-notch entertainment and high-quality food options. And with Hog Roast Threlkeld renowned as one of Cumbria’s premier catering providers, we were honoured to be chosen for the occasion.
With the day split into two slots to accommodate all 300 attendees, punctuality was key. Gemma relied on us to ensure that guests could fully immerse themselves in the Jurassic fun without missing out on delicious food. Our Southern Slow Roast Menu was the perfect choice, offering a variety of flavours to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters.
As the morning sun illuminated the outdoor dining area, our team sprang into action, setting up our equipment and preparing the feast for the first batch of guests. From BBQ pork butt to Texan beef brisket, Cajun spiced whole roast chickens to vegan BBQ pulled jackfruit rolls, there was something to entice every palate. Meanwhile, buttery corn cobbettes, mixed fries, and Greek salad provided the perfect accompaniments to these mouth-watering mains.
Guests arrived eager to explore the dinosaur exhibits and take part in the day’s activities. But when hunger struck, they were delighted to find Hog Roast Threlkeld ready and waiting to serve up a delectable spread. With efficient service and friendly interaction, our team ensured that every guest left with a full belly and a smile on their face.
With the first batch of guests served swiftly and efficiently, Hog Roast Threlkeld wasted no time in replenishing our chafing dishes and salad bowls, ensuring that everything was pristine for the arrival of the second group. As the afternoon crowd arrived, they were greeted with the same warmth and enthusiasm as their morning counterparts.
Gemma herself joined in for the late afternoon feast and couldn’t have been more pleased with the results. She praised Hog Roast Threlkeld for our hard work and dedication, thanking the entire team for delivering a dino-mite feast for all!
