Lin and her husband Marcus host a variety of parties and events at their beautiful countryside home throughout the year. The events include cocktail parties, fancy dress parties, afternoon tea, and more, depending on the occasion. In preparation for autumn, Lin is planning a cosy and autumnal party for friends, family, and colleagues to enjoy. The party will include plenty of cosy decor, a menu of signature seasonal drinks, and a delicious comfort meal served by Hog Roast Braithwaite. For our menu, we were hired to serve a classic hog roast at the party, as this menu includes plenty of delicious dishes and is bound to be a great addition to the party.
In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Braithwaite team will arrive at the private venue in the afternoon to allow us to prepare the dishes in time for the 8:00pm serving time. Our food prep will begin with slow-roasting the hog and allowing it to expertly roast to perfection. Once it is time to serve, the pork will be expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Alternatively, the guests will be able to enjoy succulent pork sausages, or veggie sausages, with a selection of condiments. For the side dishes, we will be providing homemade chips, seasonal vegetables, gourmet coleslaw, and corn cobettes. Overall, this menu will have plenty for every guest to enjoy, including enough for seconds, and is sure to be another memorable aspect of the evening!
