As it is the new year, we at Hog Roast Whitehaven just want to take a quick moment before all the craziness begins again to highlight the people that make every one of our catered events possible. Hog Roast Whitehaven is so much more than just the chefs and servers you see at your events making and serving your delicious hog roast; there are so many working behind the scenes each and every day that are integral to the success of every event. We are a family here at Hog Roast, and like a family everyone has their important place.
You may well have spoken to some of them before already without having seen their face. Our call team are one of the most important parts of our business, because without them most events would never get off the ground. They are excellent people persons, and know just how to welcome the customer in and get all the info our catering teams need from them. They are, ironically enough, the face of Hog Roast Whitehaven as they are so often the first people that any of our customers speak to, and they are how we get to putting together our events in the first place.
Similar to our call team, our sourcing team are fundamental to the success of our menus. At Hog Roast Whitehaven, we put a huge onus on the quality of our dishes, and a lot of that comes down to the local stocks that our sourcing team works with. Our sourcing team look to each event individually to source only the top shelf meats to give to our chefs, allowing them to do their best work too. Thanks to the the sourcing team, we all look better!
Next up is our marketing team. All the incredible photos you see of our events, our pretty Instagram pages, our quick responses to your Facebook and Twitter messages – that all comes down to the excellent marketing team that boast the Hog Roast Whitehaven name loud and proud to the world. Without them, many customers would never find us or see just how incredible our namesake roast actually is! It sells the service so that the rest of us get to do our job!
