With a whole new chapter of freedom ahead of her, Christine decided to kick things off in style; surrounded by friends, family, and, of course, a delicious spread!
After securing a local bowling club for her big bash, Christine knew she needed top-tier catering to match the occasion. Cooking for 85 people herself? No, thank you! With a little help from our experts, Christine landed on our Hog Roast Dining Menu; a slightly more formal setup but still packed with plenty of variety to satisfy every guest. And let’s just say, it didn’t disappoint!
At the heart of the spread was Hog Roast Lorton’s iconic whole-roasted, free-range pig, served with classic sage and onion stuffing, crispy crackling, and applesauce. But the feast didn’t stop there! Christine wanted to keep things fun and flavourful, so we also served up a 50-50 mix of handmade British beef burgers and gourmet sausages, grilled to juicy perfection with just the right amount of char.
Christine also made sure her vegetarian and vegan guests felt just as spoiled with our grilled vegetable skewers. Paired with optional halloumi, tzatziki dip, soft flatbreads, and sweet chili sauce, this meat-free option was bursting with colour and flavour!
As for the sides, we went all out with fresh salads, creamy coleslaw, and golden roasted new potatoes, giving everyone the chance to customise their plates exactly to their liking. With drinks in hand and plates packed, guests toasted to Christine’s incredible accomplishment, soaking up the lively atmosphere and savouring every last bite.
As the night went on, the buffet was slowly but surely picked clean, leaving only satisfied smiles and happy memories behind. Between the amazing company, the vibrant energy, and the fantastic food, Christine’s retirement bash was nothing short of spectacular.
