Invitations flew out, and soon 150 guests were poised to surprise Malcolm.
As Malcolm entered the bowling club last Saturday evening, he was greeted not only by the smiling faces of loved ones but also by the captivating aromas of our meticulously prepared feast.
Hog Roast Arnside’s Southern Slow Roast Menu did not disappoint. From tender BBQ pork butt to Cajun-spiced whole roasted chickens and Texan 24-hour beef brisket, each dish evoked the flavours of the American South. Meanwhile, vegan-friendly options like BBQ-pulled jackfruit ensured that every guest could indulge in the culinary delights.
Sides of golden corn cobbettes dripping in warm melted butter, indulgent potato salad, and extra cheesy mac and cheese elevated the meal to new heights. With plates piled high, guests savoured each mouthful, going back for seconds and thirds without hesitation.
Adding to the atmosphere, Briony had arranged for a country band to provide entertainment. As the music filled the hall, guests of all ages took to the dance floor, including the birthday boy, himself! Malcolm’s infectious energy belied his age, proving that age is truly just a number.
