Hog Roast Grasmere Served A Hauntingly Scarily Good Spread At A Halloween Festival!

Halloween is no longer confined to a single day of festivities, in recent years, it has expanded into an entire month of macabre merriment!

October, affectionately known as spooky season, brings with it a multitude of opportunities to embrace all things eerie and Hog Roast Grasmere is here to add a dash of deliciousness to the season of spookiness.

As you can probably guess, for Hog Roast Grasmere, October is a whirlwind of activity. With back-to-back bookings and a plethora of events, our team is kept on their toes. But far from being overwhelmed, we thrive on the excitement of the season. And this year, our calendar was jam-packed with thrilling events, each one more memorable than the last.

One standout celebration was a Halloween Festival we attended, which was largely organised by creative genius, Toby. The event was held at a remote location, requiring a fair bit of driving for us to reach. As we pulled up to the site, we couldn’t help but be captivated by the transformation. The event organisers had gone all out to create an amazing experience for attendees. The festival grounds were adorned with an array of creepy decorations that set the tone for the night.

Hog Roast GrasmereOur catering manager, Frank, immediately sprang into action, setting up our barbecue station to whip up a menu that would satiate even the most ravenous of monsters. We served up handmade British beef burgers, gourmet sausages, succulent chicken kebabs, tender spareribs, as well as options for our vegetarian friends with veggie burgers and sausages. To add extra flavour to the feast, we offered pasta salad, coleslaw, and a delightful combination of sweet potato and regular fries.

The crowd was entranced by Hog Roast Grasmere’s food, and they kept coming back for more in between bouts of entertainment. The event was a sensory delight, featuring live music that echoed through the night, a mesmerising fire show, and awe-inspiring performances by contortionists and aerial artists. For the brave souls, there was a haunted house and a jump-scare maze, ensuring that nobody escaped the evening without a spine-tingling thrill.

This year’s spooky season was one for the books, and we can’t wait to see what eerie adventures next October will bring our way. Until then, we’ll be savouring the memories of this unforgettable month-long celebration of all things creepy!
